Lala’s Farm loves garden art made from broken or discarded items. I believe they add whimsy and interest in unexpected places. The chicken above was created with an old toaster, broken, rusted rake, hand shovel & other misc stored items headed to a dump.
This garden favorite was created with a rusted base, brightly colored faucet handles arranged as flowers, a bundt cake pan, a worn watering can, forks, misc pieces of metal, a broken rake for hair, and a metal lampshade as her garden hat. These two art pieces are excellent examples of turning repurposed trash into true treasures to be enjoyed and admired among the garden plantings.
So open up the junk drawer, visit your cellar or garage, and look for items headed to the trash to create something unique from an ordinary object.
