DIY Flock Block: A Homemade Treat for Happy Chickens

### DIY Flock Block Recipe:

1. Prepare Your Ingredients: Gather all your ingredients and chop any large pieces into smaller, manageable sizes.


2. Mixing: In a large mixing bowl, combine your grains, protein sources, and extras. Ensure an even distribution of ingredients for balanced nutrition.

4. Molding: Transfer the mixture into a round cake pan . Place parchment paper and pour the mixed ingredients into the paper. spread the ingredients and lightly but firmly pat the the ingredients down into the pan until flat and level.


5. Setting: Place the pan in the oven at 325 for 30 minutes , remove, create a small round hole with end of a wooden spoon, this hole can be use to hang the flock block with twine or a thin rope . Place pan in fridge or to cool and allow the block to set and firm up.


6. Feeding: Once the block is firm, remove lift the parchment paper with the flock block and place it in your chickens' coop or run. Watch as your chickens peck and nibble away at their homemade treat!
